We diagnose the fault, then supply and fit a suitable replacement inverter. Most jobs are a half-day visit. We do not advertise open-ended repair of failed boards — if the unit needs replacing, we say so clearly.

MCS solar work is certified via Greenwatt Energy where certification is required. Electrical work follows BS 7671.

Do you repair inverters or replace them?
We diagnose on site. Where a board-level repair is not a sensible lasting option, we recommend replacement and quote that clearly. Our advertised service is diagnosis plus replacement.
How long does a replacement take?
Most straightforward replacements are completed in a half day once the unit is agreed and on hand.
Will replacing my inverter affect FiT payments?
Often you can replace an inverter on a FiT system, but you should notify your FiT licensee and keep metering compliant. See our FiT upgrade guide.
